Definitely in my top 3 Star Trek movies. I don't think it surpasses Khan, but it is probably better than First Contact. As my wife just said, it is difficult to compare across the different branches of the franchise. Flashy and cinematic, but with a solid grasp of the characters and a serviceable plot underneath. I look forward to more like this one.
